Fabric got wet.... now stained! Help!

I have no idea why my fabric retained a line of where it got wet.... after it's dried... it's like it gets stained by water!!
The material is a type of matte satin...
I'm freaking out a little, but it's kinda obvious when it's under certain lighting...

Some help explain this weird phenomenon???? I'd be so glad if someone could provide a solution to this problem (as I'm kinda freaking out a little right now)!
