HEY GUYS!!! My parents have POWER = I now have internet
I'm good (Calie your house is very much in the same condition). 1 mirror broke. Insainly glad I had 1 friend awake (not in chch) to text that kept me sane

ALSO @sunday night goers,
OTBC IS STILL STANDING!!! No idea how the church is up (the roof is RESTING on the walls... not attached at all). There are cracks everywhere in the walls and looks like it'll be taken down and re-built. Oh and the organ is really ~~munted~~ out of place.
The lounge is all good but no power there at the moment.

um... yes. Still waiting to hear back from a few friends that they are ok.

p.s Thank God for cellphones with internet!

yeah... the church is a site to behold actually. There are so many pieces with GAINT cracks in them, but for some reason none of it fell. We OTBC is also one of the only places that still has a varander thing.

>_< man it was a scary night. The first 10 seconds I couldn't believe what I was feeling (the bed shaking) and then it hit me, the 100 year earthquake had arrived lol

Did you guys hear about the man who got hit by a falling chimney? Ouch DX

The door to my sister's room randomly shut itself and we couldn't get it open and my parents (and me... maybe) were freaking out. I think my sister got the worst of it.

Edit- Just found out that my brother's house is really damaged and broken. He has bits of watery sand coming out of cracks in the house and the floorboard in his dinning room is no longer, the dinning room floor has dropped completely. Eeek.

My sister told me this morning, first thing mum did was call her brother and her mum down in Christchurch to check everyone's okay (she's still on the phone now). I didn't feel the quake myself (sleeping) but everyone else in the house did. I texted Pyro asking if she's okay but I haven't got a reply yet...

God, this is pretty awful. I hope you guys are all dealing okay D:
