Thanks! Could you PM me your bank details so I can pay you for it sooner rather than later?

Yep to all :)

Lucy I think all the boots will fit in one box for posting- they are all fairly light even for boots unless you have other means of getting them :) PM me with details :)

Winds-of-Despair: Yep :) I can post it easily if that'll be easy, PM me for postage and payment details :) I think it will fit in a mid sized envelope.

Sure, but I am okay waiting until Armageddon :) I have a box all the items to be picked up have gone into and have notes stuck on them :)

After thinking things through I have decided that I don't actually need the silver stretch material - thanks for holding it for me while I took ages to think about it.

These boots - I vary between a size 7 and 8, so I'm not sure if these will fit me or not - would you be able to measure the length of the soles for me please? Size uncertainty aside, they're almost exactly what I'm looking for. Very Happy

JVCA: I'll do so tomorrow, sorry I didn't see this sooner :)

Rena: Either or :) The bodice skims at the waist on me (about 1.5cm below the waist I suppose) and then dips further in front and back. So the skirts will both be fine :) The red skirt has not had the waist finished so you can pleat it to what ever shape (I just put pleats right at the back but they can be even all around or from the side to the back) The white skirt has had a waistband and hook put in but it is easy to undo and the pleats at the back are pretty deep so again you can move them around if you like.
The white skirt is straighter than the red skirt so the hem is not as full.

fleyer: yep :) One of the half mannequins is available :) I also have the two clear vinyl ones (which can be shaped though they buckle a bit with a heat gun). They are covered in resin bits so I'll see how well they clean up.

And I may have a sewing machine. Well I do. It's a Cascade, I bought it for $200 from the Warehouse several years ago but it has had little use due to the fact that it smokes at you from somewhere inside. I think it's just an excess of oil but it could be parts rubbing together too much. Does nice stitches though.
I just fixed my lovely Janome so I'll have a look inside and see if I can figure out if it is okay or not. If not it's going to be donated to get fixed and used in a developing country somewhere.

Absolutely :) PM me with when and where you want to meet :)

And Jess, I'll measure the boots in the morning, I didn't spot that I put the boots back under a few heavy things so I need rearrange a few things :)

I just found the manual for the sewing machine too (along with my Elna Lotus and Husquvarna Automatic- they need to be scanned so very different to what we get now!) will see how that goes tomorrow with the looking inside.

Jess: The shoes are 26cm long along the sole not curving to take into account the heel and my feet are 24cm long and my toes just touch the end inside.
I've only tried these on so they will have some stretch room- hot water really is a miracle worker- or if they are too big socks are always an easy option- one I keep forgetting.
