| Has any one else finished this yet?
| Spoiler: | | | I finished the main game last week. I actually quite enjoyed it (far more than two, but not as much as TLC), I thought the story was solid enough for a light game. I have only one big gripe: the bizarre choice to slow mo so many flourishes- even those that don't kill an opponent. I always charge magic and ranged attacks, so this would happen ALL THE physics TIME.
I liked the characters, although every one needed more screen time. Ben Finn, Page and Swift especially. Walter was great, goddamnthatending. Even if most people would have seen it coming. When he loses his sight in Aurora- URGH. That was a really great part of the game, probably my favourite.
Also; I'd love for them to introduce a different difficulty setting. These games are so easy- I realise they want it to be a 'fun for the whole family', but something a little more challenging would be nice. Even with going full melee and ranged for the majority of the last half of the game, it was so easy. Using magic made it ridiculous.
I didn't like the relationship system in this, either. The quest thing was lame. And how you could only use expressions on one person at a time- NOPE.jpeg, I didn't even bother. I wanted to Cossack Dance for my adoring public! Not play freaking pat-a-cake with each individual person!
|
tl;dr I liked it well enough.

I dunno, man. The first one had so much charm. This one was at least better than two, but Fable was a damn fine game.

HNNNG. I have to give it back to my brother tomorrow, still messing seven silver keys, one gold and like... three gnomes. Damnitall.

Yeah, it was the same with 2. There were enough decent quests left over after defeating the big bad that it's given me a good five-ish hours. A fair amount of that has just been dawdling around looking for keys and physics flowers.

| Sorry, I havent been on the forums in AGES (RHJBGFREBFVSERUB)
But I finished the game a week after it came out (cause of exams)
| Spoiler: | | | The weapon system was fun, I enjoyed the way you got to level up the sword and see it change into your type of sword depending on the choices you make and the things you do.
Being king/queen was a let-down, I thought that was when the game really started, and the storyline would become the giant epic tale of defeating darkness... but it turned out I was king/queen for an hour and defeating darkness was incredibly easy...
I FRICKIN LOVED the characters man, the ABSOLUTE BEST part of the game, and the voice actors, OMG, and same for the graphics and terrains, stunning.
the extra quests were fun and the earlier ones seemed to carry on, but upon doing every possible side quest, unlocking every demon door, finding every silver key and golden key, opening every road to rule chest, exploring all regions unrelated to the main gam,e I ended up playing it for only about 15 hours, which really was dissapointing, but nontheless, it was fun.
The storyline was alright, I wouldve loved to learn more about Theresa, and I feel smart because I could link Reaver still being alive to the second game 8D, how he sacrifices young people to the shadow courts in order to keep his youth, then world was just about as large as the second game, perhaps a bit larger and very accesible.
7.5/10 for me 8D |

| NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DDDD:
*sniff* I don't have Kinect TT~TT
Furthermore
WTF!?
Was making a Kinect game for Fable neccesary? Was anyone really wanting a Kinect game for Fable? (Seriously, I can't find ANY part of the fanbase that actually wanted the next Fable to be Kinect accessible)
Worst of all..... it's first person..... I REALLY hope Lionhead know what they're doing with this, allot of people lost faith in them after F3 (although I can't imagine why, but they did), and I was really thinking they'd make some sort of prequel to the Fable series, or at least announcement the development of Fable 4, or some spinoff or SOMETHING.
I'm ranting allot, what do you guys think? :L |
