Cosplay Photo Shoot?

Hi, I'm Jessi and I'm a metal band, alternative fashion and hopefully soon-to-be cosplay photographer (not QUITE professional yet) from Auckland. My favourite anime series are Elfen Lied, Hellsing, Blood+ and FMA, and gaming-wise, I love Halo, Warcraft and Diablo II.

I want to do some cosplay photoshoots some time between June 20 and September 1 to sell as posters at Armageddon. I heard that OD would be a good place.
I will try to get a make-up and hair artist, but I don't drive, so you'll have to have your own transport. You'll also need a costume of high quality.

The shoot will be a TFCD shoot (time for CD; the shoot isn't paid for with money, but you use my skill as a photographer, I use your skill as a model (even if you aren't one, it doesn't matter), then we both get high-res sets of all the images, for me to use for this purpose and my portfolio, and for you to use as you please) unfortunately, but it's hopefully going to be a good way for both of us to get our names out there.

Please, please, please, PLEASE do not post a reply unless you have something useful or constructive to say... sorry, but I've had issues with this today.

Hiya, I'm very interested in this! I'm hoping to have a couple of new costumes completed by Doujin Overload that I'd love to get photos of. I usually do my own make-up but would love to work with a make-up artist if that option is there. Transport is not a problem either.

Whoops... forgot to change this thread... basically, due to uni screwing up, I couldn't afford to have a stall at Armageddon this year... so now I'm an unpaid official photographer there.

What I AM doing (although not set in stone yet) is in a couple of weeks, I'm hoping to get a group of photographers (amateur and semi-professional), as well as some models, and I'm hoping some cosplayers will be interested too, together for a mass photo shoot in albert Park (as it's central and most people know where it is). It would probably be on a weekend, and would be impromtu, but I suggest to anyone interested that they have maybe one thing they'd like to try. It's going to be pretty casual, social and good for networking, and the photos will go towards all of our portfolios (or just to keep on record if you guys don't have a portfolio). I do have a make-up artist interested at this point. If you're still interested, please let me know Very Happy
