We can lend scissors i bet from the church (we have about 20+) but i'd have to see what ones are decent first ... and ask my mom, plus i could find cellotape, i'll leave the cardboard to Lennon... he'd be able to find it easier. (Plus i have little resource of that)

Say, can we bring props? like a torch? or a permanent marker? or spraypaint? or colored cellophane?

Yeah, sure thing. Just that we cant offer spraypaint to everybody as it is expensive and there are responsibility issues. But markers and cellophanes seem like a viable idea... anyone know how much cellophane cost?

Just quickly - is this going to be held outside-outside, or outside as in in the hallway?

But can i bring a torch? xP *celophane+torch=awesome.*
(sorry it's just that i've been planning this for weeks haha)
and also,
•what is the time limit on construction and
•is it singles or teams?

Me and my 2 mates have been making EPIC plans for this.
we each have our separate epic robots to make xDD
(So if i can now, i reserve places for 3 people lol)

This competition is genius and should be done at every convention xD

We have a few small extra rooms, which i may place this in.

Re construction, we can start at a certain time and leave them
to it it you think?

Please email me a breakdown of items you think we will need
SPECIFICALLY so i can purchase them

So uhh, I guess I'll get a time sorted out for you guys. I'm thinking we can even get you guys to work it on over the day or something. Would that sound good?

Also, suggestions on items:

Cardboard (Lennon will be providing it)
Scissors

Cellotape

Craft knives

Anything else?

Also, I won't know how many of each I'll need as I have nfi how many teams/people will sign up.

Just fyi, you won't be able to use spray paint indoors - partly so you don't get paint on stuff, but mostly so you don't gas everyone due to how the ventilation system works.

I'm probably not going to allow spraypaint anyway

1. Expensive
2. Responsibility issues (well, I DO live in East Auckland/Manukau area so you know... lol)

I can help out with this, if you needs any help Bas. :O Might be easier since we're in the same household, lol.

I think some duct tape will help stop the cardboard from falling apart? How about some marker pens? To draw faces and write names, etc.
