I was actually doodling costume breakdowns about a week ago. ...Albeit in my head, but I've saved future-me a lot of think-too-hard-too-quickly-brain-hemorrhaging. (It seems that sitting staring blankly at the TV with my mouth half-open mid-game (staring at the outfit) is my deep-thinking pose. I should probably work on that.)

So do you want me to actually scribble these down for y'all or what?

The copy of this game I was after turned out to be broken so the guy didn't sell it to me in the end. /sulk

I'm still playing ahahahaaaaa.

Maybe I sketch too lightly or my scanner just hates me as usual or something, but oh well... Here at the sketches. Some of the hatching I did to point out the inside back of a piece of clothing or lines on the knit fabrics were nomnom'd by the scanner. But I guess this'll do...?

Note, this isn't me redrawing the costumes, just breaking them into their individual components. For detail and shiz, please see Creative Uncut's page for this. Argilla, Gale and Serph are good for references. I'm positive all the pants-wearing characters are actually wearing those three-quarter pants Gale has, just with long boots. Because I don't think they could fit much else under those leg-hugging boots. Speaking of Gale, I neglected to draw his hood....

The day I started drawing this, I was in the computer lab in the Student Union building. I had all the reference pictures up on the screen and then there was the powercut... ;A; So most of the top-half of this page was drawn from memory. ;;;

ETA: Oh shiii -- I didn't realise there were button join-y cover-up attach-y things on the bottom of the jacket (as seen in Argilla's costume. This is what happens when you draw from memory. I get how it all works now!! FFUUUUUUUU ---

hahahaah ty ;;;; I actually used to draw fashion designs way back when, so it's kind of a flashback

(Oops, I just realised that Heat also wears the sleeveless zip-up... vest... thing. Make that 'Character specific: Gale, Cielo and Heat'. Yeah, a lesson to be learned about drawing from memory, guys.)

Which part? Do you mean this part (outlined in red)? It's the same as the top-most left-most sketch on the page, he's just zipped it all the way up instead of leaving a collar fold-back. Is that what you mean?

Ah, yes, that's what I meant. I thought it might be that, I just couldn't figure out how exactly it would zip all the way up. I forgot lapels could be folded open. |D

Boots are a smarmy wrench (apparently). But I think the easiest way is to buy a pair of shoes with the right shape, and then create a fabric boot cover that gets stuck to the shoe~ 8D

Ahh...I think I actually will need a bodysuit (WITH CHAPS) for Jinana! Kinda looking forward to it though Very Happy
