[AC10] Cosplay Panel (Wellington, August)

So I kindasorta put my hand up and said I was interested in helping the guys running Au Contraire (LINK) organise a cosplay panel. Wanna help me brainstorm, or even help me out on the day? I need some people who are better at the technical stuff than I to help!

What sort of stuff would make a good cosplay panel for more casual cosplayers? They're interested in an interactive-y panel, rather than a talky panel. They've mentioned something like high-speed costuming - hours rather than minutes though Very Happy

. Or a "bring in the tricky stuff and get experts to help you" panel. I was thinking maybe including a display of the range of complexities - from an L, to a Bleach uniform, all the way up to something like Misha's General.
What other things would work well, do people think?

They're thinking either a day, or a half day, depending on what sort of stuff we come up with. They're fairly set on it being on the Friday.

Ideas?

I would LOVE to help! I can bring along stuff to show off, or talk 'til the cows come home, and also I can supply photos from my gallery :)

I was thinking maybe of having a sit-down-RL-face-to-face talk sometime about this all, basically to get people focused, give a deadline and a serious think about what people can and want to do.

Who is seriously interested enough in helping out to come along to a meeting?
