Chgeddon Stage Performance 2011

I have a vision of a professional full on skit/stage preformance at Armageddon, with as many different characters as we can fit in, with backgrounds, props, AV components and a whole lot more.

Let me give you a brief run through, using example characters.

The stage opens with Yuna wandering across the stage, suddenly, the lights flash and the FF10 encounter music plays. Link, jumps on to the stage, and starts saying cheesy pick up lines to yuna.

Yuna's battlemenu pops up on stage (giant piece of cardboard) and a flashing hand cursor chooses attack.
Yuna summons Uruhaha from bleach, who starts making threating moves at Link.

Link quickly pulls out a pokeball and says "Attack, Pikachu!"
Pikachu runs in from off stage, and starts throwing yellow streamers at the Uruhara while yelling thundershock.

theres a lot more I want to do, but it's limited by who would be interested in participating.
I'd probably limit the number of different characters to 10 or so, however we would need more people to help with props and special effects and so on.

I would prefer to do this on Saturday, as part of the Cosplay parade (if it happens next year). That way people taking part in the performance would be able to enter their own entries into the competition should they wish.

I also would like to restrict group members to people that live in Christchurch, and are willing to work together with rehersals, (much much) closer to the event.

Who's interested, and what are the best costumes you own, that you would be keen to write into the script?

I could use my Cammy cosplay that I'll be making for the Street fighter group on that day, I'd rather use Inuyasha (I plan on cosplaying him and making his outfit at one point) but that depends on if I have time to change or not between the Kamehameha contest and the Cosplay parade. (Assuming that we have it, we had better, Welly and Auck Geddon get most of the good events, time for us Chchians to get some too!) sweatdrop

usually, lengthened skits are performed at half-time during masquerades in the USA... but idek where it'd fit in here.

Seraphik > No, I have not spoken to bill yet, I'd prefer to wait until we get a bit futher into the development stage before approaching him.

Aura has said that this could fill a 15min slot in the cosplay games section.

I'm in, and I can use any of the following outfits for it:

-Grelle (Kuroshitsuji)
-Motochika (Sengoku Basara)
-Beelzemon -blast mode- (Digimon Tamers)
-Dante (Devil May Cry 3)

Depending on how well they turn out, I've got a couple of planned cosplays that could work too. (Caterina from Trinity Blood, Ayanami from 07-Ghost, Caim from Drakengard and Terra from Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep).

Can I help script it, if possible? I really love writing stuff and I like any chance to practice extending my writing skillz, so this'd be a great opportunity for me to do a little bit of writing, if you'll let me. o_o;;
