Although, if we really cant find a venue my laptop's player has a semi-decent karaoke function - and it can search for lyrics online (although its mostly Japanese/Chinese, barely any roomanji) :p

Some kind of community hall if we don't wanna get the minors in trouble? Otherwise I'd suggest 10Bar and I'm sure there'd be no issue playing some anime themes/Jrock/pop there... As long as someone wants to lend their iPod/other mp3 player for the night...

10BAR would be awesome, for those of us who want a BAR-BAR >.> and we dont gotta pay for it much other than deposit.

If 10bar sticks, i'll see if i can't get Kirby-chan (Ladykirby, the events co-ordinator XD) to give them a heads up this week -

I gotta get the mailing list for exec running and we can shoot of proposed ideas quickly on how to deal with the monetary issues, and how to word the details to Bill before tuesday.

Exec mailing list running, sent out an email last night :)
Proposed fees are above, though i need to run in and add the other bit about CNZ being DACC friends.

Btw i'm broke i can't make it to vivace this week, kinda the whole i need to save money before NZAC or else i'll never be able to leave the house LMAO.

The whole thing could cost upwards of 400 not including snacks, ticket making and other things - Do we provide our own door staff or can they?

Well DACC's already planning one, we've got a comittee we've got the information sent to Bill - we just wanna know who's really interested in coming.

Riots arent good >_> as joking or not joking as it is, i have people who will make my life a living hell who have NOTHING to do with CNZ if my club doesn't organize this properly.

And i mean nothing to do with CNZ lol.

The mods here have been fairly good about letting me post this here especially because I'm pushing for a discount for CNZ members.

Yea it's going to cost money, but we're hiring a bar - we're playing music and we may even be able to show people's amv's if bill says it's ok.

I sent the email to him, and we're meeting on (without bill cause he's not here yet lol) wed night.

Riot would be hilarious, i think you're totally correct but i got a bunch of sourpuss' who think they're more mature than half the over 29's on this board (and they're NOT lol) who want nothing more than to see Dunedin Asian Culture Club fail at this Razz

So we're not going to fail XD

I would gather that if anyone's in uni/studying most mods get the 5$ one -
ther'es that facebook event too :)

BTW. :) the ordering's ready.
Downside? Means you have to register at the site .___. it's kinda a anti-fraud thing virtuemart has installed.

Anyone NOT in dunedin who doesnt want an account but wants to order via the site - i can process orders through my exec account on the site :)

If it's not adding anything useful to the topic, it's still a bump (or spam, if posted less than a week since the last post), regardless of who posted it. :)

I'll be fine - though thank you for offering. I suspect I'll probably be too zonked from the con to attend.

Zonked i can see - but i do highly reccomend it for the sheer fact there's extra goodies involved :) But then again, you do need energy for the 2nd day :)
