Chchgedd: Cosplay Fun and Photoshoot

What we’ve done in the past is have an hour or two during Armageddon for as many cosplayers as possible to get-together for some games, dances, freezes (see vid) and photos~

So if you're keen, vote on the multichoice poll for the time.
We will meet outside armageddon at 2pm Sat and Sunday, and then we'll migrate over to the park opposite.
Spread the word!

Now our (sometimes) good friend the weather might not be nice to us during the weekend, so if its clearly rainy at the time we're to meet, then this will most likely be canceled.

Edit: Sunday 2 and 3 have been added to the poll.

Yay! So keen for this! cheers As long as it's before the Cosplay Parade at 3pm then I don't mind. Wink If it rains on saturday and this gets cancelled will it be on sunday instead?

I was tempted to put down Sunday as well, but it depends how people feel about doing the games in their contest costumes. Though having said that we did do this Sunday last year.

It would have to be after judging and before stage. So I think our only time frame would be 2pm or 3pm.
Kay what I'll do is put those two options up anyway~

so.... I've just made myself a time table of what I want to do and when it is....
My whole saturday is booked (extluding the 15min inbetween everything) and on sunday I don't want to go outside in my cosplay T_T

Though I am free after the sing along... but I don't know when that will finish >_>
what about 2.45-3pm ? (start time)

Hey Aura, I think the Town hall is going to be unused at least on Saturday. They are often open and have a large floor space, even upstairs.

It's still inappropriate and I don't think they would appreciate a hoard of loud, hyperactive cosplayers running amok even if the place happened to be free. stare

I'd be keen, I don't really have a preferred time, only I can't go to all of it if it's at 12 on Saturday 'cause my Photoshoot booking with Sylvie is at 12:30. :3 Fingers crossed for good weather!

Well essentially they are the same company as the convention center, and so they are running Armageddon. But I guess as an alternative to cancelling it in the rain we could just ask. Never hurts to ask. Depending on the games we could use the upstairs part.

Kay this is totally short notice; but the idea will be to meet at 2pm both days.
SPREAD.THE.WORD. =P
Course due to its late notice, it is a winged event so nothing specific has been planned just the time and meeting place.

@ Highlander, we could go inside for photos (which we did last year) and even freeze but I don't think they'd appreciate games or dances in there. xD
And yes thats true, we could even see if there's room in armageddon itself, Bill didn't seem to mind us playing chess in Auckland afterall... though, the con however did.

Ah we'll see how it goes on the day~
