Sunday night after'geddon dinner - FULL, PLEASE CONFIRM

IMPORTANT: PLEASE RSVP ASAP IF YOU ARE IN THE ATTENDING LIST BELOW BUT DON'T HAVE A 'CONFIRMED' BY YOUR NAME!!! If you don't, you may miss out on a space as I may be limited by booking amounts and it's typical for people to forget. I am going to town to book today (Tuesday 30th) so I need an answer by this morning, otherwise I go with my best guestimate and start PMing people that I couldn't get them a spot.

* If you have said 'I will come if I have the money' please make up your mind NOW if you want to come or not. If so, put money aside for it. I'm sorry, but it's not fair for me to book all these seats and then feel embarrassed to tell the guys at Regal that half the seats are no longer needed. So please consider this a 'commitment' part of the end of the convention. $20-ish aside is all we're asking. <3

Current details of the dinner:

Date: Sunday 4th April (Last day of Armageddon)
Meet time: 6:45pm-ish, outside Regal. Dinner starts at 7pm.

Dress: No cosplay unless it is very casual (ie - not giant wings, props ect). You have time to get ready after the con which finishes at 5pm.
Other things: Please shower. I know it's funny to joke but it's REALLY not pleasant sitting next to someone who smells of con-funk. It's for everyone's sake, trust me! ^^;

Important notes: PLEASE bring cash, as it makes payment easier.

Hey guys!

As par usual, we are organising an Armageddon group dinner. Since people seemed to enjoy it last year, we're going to have it at Regal again this year (cheap but tasty eats and big tables).

However, we're going to make it the Sunday this time (as Friday there's the cocktail party, and Saturday the cosplay games run until really late and a lot of us are part of one or both of these).

Due to the time-tables for geddon itself being rather constricting this year - I'm saving both myself and guests the hassle and making this one VA-guest-free. It's just gonna be us having fun and enjoying the fact that we've made it through another Armageddon. :)

More details to come soon, though do express your interest now if you'd like to come, so I can get an idea of how many seats to book. Thinking of making the dinner about 6pm-ish.

Suggestions welcome, only thing we won't be changing is the venue since it's affordable (most of all after a con! XD) and has sorta become a mini-tradition to eat there. :)

The Games will only run until 6pm - surely that's enough time to then go for a Sat dinner at 7? I don't know about others, but I fly back on the Sunday in order to be at Uni the next day and am a bit miffed to say the least that I"ll miss this.

Would love to come if its on Saturday otherwise I'll be flying off on Sunday night as well so I can prepare to do things in the holidays XP (curse being a uni student who must work as much as possible)

Hurrhurr. I specifically booked leave so that I could have time off to recuperate post-geddon, and also booked the cheap 730am seats for Monday.
So yeah, I'll be there +1 please.

I can also generally help with feeding poor students (... I was one for 6 years, so I feel your pain! ) by buying large group platters and putting them round for ppl to share. Does Regal do platters?

(@Aurellion: I have no idea what that is in your sig, but it's so cuuuuuute, I stared at it for ages!)

I cast my vote for sunday, as I know for a fact I will still be working on my comp pieces until the last minute! However - I won't miss this unless I absolutely have to, so if it's saturday, I'm in :)

Hey guys.

The reason I put Sunday is because of the games finishing at 6pm, several of us still have to go back home to shower/change ect (I refuse to go there sweaty and gross after a con XD) and it takes us a while to go home since we don't live central-city anymore and don't have a car to get to and from there very fast.

I could always make it Saturday, but then it would have to be around 7:30-8pm and that's pushing it somewhat with times. D:

EDIT: Should note I also put it up for Sunday for, like Sylvie said, people are usually working on finishing cosplays on the last night - not to mention this was planned as a wind-down dinner for after the con.
