^Cardboard and paper mache. And painting over with pva glue once they're painted the right colour to make it shiny.

@Azeria: If it fails again, you can actually make them from white icecream containers + lids <3 Thats what I did with my aegis 'phones.

craft foam lmao. painstaking. it's layered/gesso'd/painted/varnished so it doesn't really look like foam anymore...
