Phototrips

Would anyone in chch like to come on a daytrip to somewhere awesome and do some cosplay photo shoots n stuff? There are some awesome locations less then an hour away, that would totally be amazing to use as backgrounds.

We could drive out to the base of mount cook, and get photos in the snow. Up the port hills you get amazing views and some awesome background shots. Theres also Akaroa not far away, Lyttleton, and also i'd love to take some photos along the river bed of some of the massive cantabury rivers.

Planing for Sunday the 13th, leave christchurch about 10:30am, we'll get there just in time to have a snow picnic at the warmest part of the day and then take photos and play in the fun and pretty white shiny snow!

unfortunately i can only take 5 people in my car, but if anyone else wants to drive a car, we can have a larger group. Also preference to those that are cosplaying!

wow actually that would be really really fun and interesting! good idea, it'll probably be a whole-day trip or something... ah that would be so cool =D

more like 2-3 hours probably, or longer depending on location :)

hm.. ideally it'll be nice to spend at least 2-3 hours at that place, and then maybe an hour or so driving. X3

yea dat'd b funny... plus most ppl's got awesome costumes so we'll prob get some pretty cool photos... n maybe we can take a few cool vids as well while we're at it

I'd love to go up to Mtt Cook and do a snow photoshoot. Midsummer Snow's picture of her in her Yuna costume in the snow last week looked so freaking awesome! We could even throw some snow balls or build a Snow Mecha!

It's only about 1hrs drive from here.

On topic...somewhat: The snow thing sounds very awesome to be able to do. In Auckland that kind of thing is very very difficult x_x

tell me about it, i was living in auckland for over 15yrs, the first time i was somewhere that had snow, i was soooo happy i stayed out way too much and got sick. Its because of Auckland that i love snow so much!

Rawr! >vv< i is very very jealous of you! It looks so shiny and white (at this time of night, after moving all day my mind is very simple).

And with the staying outside and getting sick thing i probably would have done the same thing lol x3

Omg thats so cool *is sad to live in Auckland now*
I have always wished Auckland got snow sad

When I went on a ski trip for intermediate we had the bestest snow fight on this mini cliff near our cabin and we were all soaked by the end of it.
I think that would go in my list of best days ever Very Happy
