[Other] Tutoring (Wellington Region)

Subjects:
General Science and Maths tuition
Biology: NCEA Level 1, 2 and 3, Biology university papers 100 level and maybe 200 and 300 level depending on the topics
General Proofreading and Essay Writing Skills: All levels
Study Skills and Exam Prep: All levels.

$15/hour one person, $5/hour each extra person, but only one topic at a time, and at the same level (I can't teach Biology at the same time as proofreading, nor can I teach 6th form biology at the same time at 100 level). So one person $15/hour, 2 people $20/hour, 3 people $25/hour. First session 1.5 hours (same price) to discuss material and expectations.

At university or central city preferred (Library at either is convenient, but going outside sometimes makes it less of a drag). I will consider doing the mission as far as Palmerston North if several people can co-ordinate several hours of tutoring for me (price in that case subject to negotiation). Internet is do-able but tricky - talk to me and I'll see if I can help.

Remember that studying should be done DURING the year, not just in the two weeks before exams. Especially Study Skills and Exam Prep and especially in University - a semester is actually only 15 weeks!

My Qualifications
BA: Anthropology with some History
BSc: Biology - whole animal, ecology and evolution focus, but enough biochem and statistics to help out
MSc: (in progress) Conservation Biology, thesis topic the sexual selection of breasts
