help with an *impossible* pattern
Post By Mandie_Chan. 03/02/10, 06:48 am

so I am doing this cosplay:
Gijinka -Terriermon
Spoiler:

I would like to CUT OUT the pattern with the hood already on it. so in 2 halves -left front and back, right front and back and it joins under the arms and center of the hood. Make sense? Problem is I don't really know how to make a pattern for that or WHERE to begin >_<;

My first question, is it possible?
second, if so -HOW?
if not, is there anyway to cut it with the hood attached another way?

basicly I'm trying to avoid having a seem around the neck >_<;

They way I can see it being done, without the seam around the neck, is the Front and Back pattern pieces, being cut as one piece, with the armholes cut out and the hood drawn into the pattern...You'd just have to make the arm pattern separate...

Do you get me? Are Pictures needed...??

Spoiler:

Do you get me now?

I think to get the depth of the hood, just make the height of the Hood Pattern taller...

YIP! one of 2 ways, either in the seam at the top of the hood or I'll hot glue it on/use domes/handstitch it/do something epic~
