trademe contact lenses, trustworthy?

hrmm i hope this is the right place lol
so i was just wondering how many people have actually bought and used contacts off of trademe,
because shangri-la will probably stop contact lense orders after this batch (DX)
i found some colord ones on trade me that can come in prescription, and some that r just colored.... and i think theyd be a good buy
but i was wondering if they are trustworthy enough? the lenses themselves not rli the sellers

I've bought contacts off trademe before, and they were perfectly fine. This was the seller, though others might be more or less reputable. There are things to take into consideration, as these lenses are usually a 'one size fits all' deal which isn't necessarily true.

fine as fine. bought them before and work great. fantasyeyes or something like that was the trader

^ yup, thats the same user I go by too~

I always buy contacts from them and they do the job perfectly~
(that user is also a proper company as well)
I've used the daily ones (last one week max) and can honestly say you can barely see them. I prefer the solid ones even though some of the colours are ttly unnatural, but you can see them really clearly~

if you've used contacts before then there shouldn't be any problem with using them. If not I'd suggest going to the optometrist first

^ agree with icarus... the dailies really have no effect. 8( /bought some brown ones to cover blue irises, and it didn't work.

the others are more expensive, but they work a lot better. 8Db and yeah, that's the best trader to go to.

the color on the box lookd alryt <and it says can have powers : D)
but then.. its quite low priced.. anyone seen or used these ones before?

@loli: another thing to look out for is 'enhancer' contacts. Those contacts in that link are only used to 'enhance' the colour of your eyes, not to actually give your eyes a different colour. So you won't actually see much/next to no change the colour of your eyes.

You can get contacts with powers, not sure about getting them on Trade me, you could send them an email asking about it. But the chances are you'll need to find stores or online stores that do the contacts with powers
(just goggle for those stores, they'll show up, but quite pricey because they'll be made to fit your eye sight)

the price is actually really good (compared to the $60 ones in stores near me) they last a full year and will show up on anyones eyes, I have very dark brown eyes and they're pretty bright~]
