CNZ AWARDS 2009

Throughout the year we've all toiled over our costumes - whether they be for fun, or for competitive events. We've also spent our fair share of time admiring other people's costumes - I know I have, at least. So we mods thought it might be time to do a little cosplay prizegiving - CNZ style.

THE CATEGORIES:

Most likely to injure someone else with their costume
Worst cosplay injury
Most adorable costume
Scariest costume
Most colourful costume
Most androgynous costume
Most likely to be glomped
Manliest costume
Girliest costume
Most impressive wig
Best Closet Cosplay
Most expensive costume
Hardest to get photos of
Most 'hair' colours in one year
Greatest number of fabrics used in one costume
Least comfortable costume to hug
Least number of fabrics used in one costume
Most difficult to recognise the person in the costume
Most likely to scare young children
Most fabric used on one costume

HOW THIS WORKS:

Anyone can nominate any CNZ member for any of the above titles, whether or not they're taking part in CNZYT. The catch? You have to be able to provide a photo of the costume you're nominating for a title (with the exception of worst cosplay injury - we will accept written explanations of this, though props for photos too!). You can nominate yourself, you can nominate people outside of your team, and you can nominate multiple people for the same category - the catch is that all costumes nominated must be from 2009.

You don't have to get the permission of the person you're nominating - but if you've been nominated for something and you object, either post in thread or PM a mod and we'll take the nomination down for you. :)

After the nominations close, your lovely mod squad will put their heads together and select a grand prize winner in each category! (For those wondering, mods are allowed to make nominations, but are not allowed to nominate mods. You may nominate a mod if you see it as being appropriate, however. ;) )

To make a nomination, please post in this thread using this format or your nomination will be ignored.

WHAT'S UP FOR GRABS:

For the people nominated; if you win, you get a snazzy title under your name that details what you won your title for.

For CNZYT particpants; 40 points will be given for each team member that wins a title - but remember, this is in the spirit of CNZ, not the spirit of our own teams, so don't just nominate people for your tactical advantage - we'll spot THAT from a mile off. ;D In total, that's 800 points up for grabs.

Nominations will close at 11:59pm, Friday 18th December, and winners will be announced on Monday 21st of December.
