Hello everyone - I hope you're having a good night! I know I am! You know why? Because I have a 2010 Cosplay New Zealand Calendar, that's why!!

24/12/09 - The first lot of calendars have been sent out! You should get them within three days - if you're in Southland and coming to the Timaru thing, I'll bring them down with me :)

24/12/09 THE CALENDARS HAVE ARRIVED! I'll try and get some in the post this afternoon, for those who already have orders. If you don't already have an order, you should get yours now!

**UPDATE** 23/12/09 - The printer is printing and sending the calendars down TODAY! I'm crossing all my fingers and all my toes that it will arrive tomorrow, and I can start posting as soon as the post office opens up again! Thank you everyone for being so patient, and I'm so sorry about all the blarghhhh updates lol. Learning curve, much?

**UPDATE** 22/12/09 - second for the day! Right. Amended artwork has been sent to the printer, and the go-ahead for printing has been given. In light of the fact that due to a little bit of miscommunication between the printer and I, and some design flaws that were missed due to a lack of time, the finished calendar is not what I had in mind when I designed it - as a picky designer and a viciously proud photographer, my vision for the calendar has not been fulfilled and as such I'd like to take action. So, we're dropping the calendar price. Calendars are now $25 for non-SPCC members, and $20 for members. All proceeds are still going to the SPCC - and they're still good! There's nothing *wrong* with them - they just aren't what I envisioned providing you guys with, and I apologise sad

For those who have already ordered and paid, PM jpwise (our trusty treasurer) your account details and refunds will be issued. Alternatively, you can choose to keep a credit with the SPCC to go towards membership fees at a later date - it's entirely up to you! And again, deepest apologies for the lateness and price-switching :'(

**UPDATE** 22/12/09 Okay everyone - the proof is Not Good. It also only arrived last night, which is kind of arse, seeing as it was sent on THURSDAY. But anyway. It will not be out in time for christmas - I am so, so sorry everyone...! I'm tweaking the layout to fix the balls-ups and sending the new artwork out tonight with instructions to print immediately and send down. All things going to Plan B, they'll be shipped out tomorrow - but still won't be in time for christmas.

A thousand apologies to everyone wanting these for christmas presents. I'm really sorry!! :'(

**UPDATE** 18-12-09 The proof copy from the printer is arriving today, provided it's all good to go I will confirm it and start printing immediately. Printer reckons 2 days for printing and binding, plus one for freight; I am SO HOPING I can do thisin time for christmas - but if not, it will absolutely be before the New Year :) Thank you everyone who has ordered one, now the rest of you should too!! Very Happy

This calendar, a joint project between the SPCC and me, is a fundraising effort for the SPCC. All proceeds to go the Society, which at this point is the Wellington Cosplay Ball; but that's only because that's all we have on the agenda Very Happy

Eventually we hope to facilitate cosplay events around the country - helping out with venue hire, permit fees, loaning of equipment, whatever...but, we need funds to do this!

So - click the spoiler! Feast your eyes on the cosplay talent we have in NZ! Not all of it - I ran out of room - but a great cross-section of the cosplayers in our comminity. I hope to make this a yearly event; we're looking at getting a stall up and running at Auckland Geddon next year, but again...we need money!

These calendars are ~~$30~~$10 each + postage; we will mail them in A4 envelopes so the postage should be pretty cheap. The calendars themselves are slightly smaller than A4 (about 18x25cm) and wire spiral bound along the top edge.

Please place your orders for calendars here - payment can be made in cash, if you are local, or by bank deposit to the SPCC's account with ASB. The attendees of the SPCC Christmas-not-halloween party got a sneaky preview of the proof tonight - I'll have this at the printer very soon, and hopw to start posting out orders in time for christmas :) So place your orders now - who's grandma wouldn't want this as a stocking stuffer? I MEAN REALLY.
