Cosplay book - BOOKING THREAD!

Thank you SO SO SO MUCH to everyone who came along for a photo shoot! The photos are all up at http://gallery.little-noise.com/main.php?g2_itemId=15629 if you want to see yours, or want to see what on earth this thread is all about :) I got release forms from a few people, but not many - if I end up using your photo, I will chase you until you give it to me. Thank you all again, and I will DEFINITELY be doing this again!

Okay...I think I have a plan. I think. I don't know what the Chch event hours are, the website makes me very confused, so I'll assume it runs 9-6 as per usual. This is on the SATURDAY.

IF YOU WANT TO BE IN THE BOOK, YOU MUST SIGN THIS. That means being over 18. ~~I will sort out an under-18 form when I have time!~~ No separate form for under 18s - you'll need a parent or guardian to sign this one. Either sign the form and bring it with you, if you trust me ( Razz

) or I'll chase you later on. I'm not going to chase that hard though, I don't have time; so be warned. No form, no prestige-of-being-in-book.

LOCATIONS

I'll be at the sweet alleyway Rocky suggested from 9am - 11.15(ish)am. Then I will move. I have time to do 9 people/small groups. Location:

Moving onwards to the square behind the Town Hall with the dandelion fountains, the name of which ALWAYS escapes me: 12pm-2pm. Again, time for 9 people/small groups.

I'll be taking photos at the convention centre after that, after I've had time to chill out/eat/do other stuff; there were some really cool bits of architecture if I recall correctly. If you\'re working a stall/doing official things and this is a more convenient spot to shoot, let me know :)

SHOOTS USUALLY ONLY TAKE ABOUT TEN MINUTES. I'm allowing fifteen for each one this time, so I can do more. I found that I had lots of free time at aucks, so I can fit more people in this time! I usually stop shooting when I have about 50 or 60 photos of you, which can be quick, or can be slow; it varies :3

Things to remember and take note of please:

1. IF YOU HAVE GROUPS OF MORE THAN 5 PEOPLE, LET ME KNOW IN ADVANCE. I got a bit of a shock when 20 KHR cosplayers turned up at Auckgeddon, and really didn't have enough time to shoot everyone!
2. You are more than welcome to have the same costume shot in different locations; but if too many people want shoots, you may get dropped/shunted into a special timeslot for other quickie-already-had-a-shoot people. But this depends on time and how many people are around :)
3. I need to be able to contact you, so PM me your cellphone number if I don't already have it. People keep ignoring this - this time, if you don't get me your cellphone number and aren't where I am at the time of your shoot, you miss out. I spent way too much time chasing people in the last round of shoots, and it just stresses me out and makes it harder to take pretty photos of everyone else.
4. REMEMBER YOUR SHOOT TIME! Write it down somewhere really obvious and don't lose it! If you do lose it, txt me and I'll tell you, but please try to remember!
5. If you don't turn up, you don't get to re-schedule. Unless something really awful happens. Then we'll sort something out. But if something does happen, please let me know - thank you to people who did this at Auckland :) I will try and work things out for you if I can, but don't just not turn up - it's very rude.
6. Don't stress too much about being early - being on time is sufficient. If you're early and I'm free, all good, but usually I'll be tied up with the person before you. Also I like a bit of time to go through and delete crappy shots so I don't run out of space Razz

7. Some of these locations are quite big! If you can't see me, I might be there, just hiding Razz

Okay thanks, I'm interested in an alleyway shoot, however I think Ze pervy kappa might be interested in joining me, not sure about the rest of the Yu-Gi-Oh! group, I'll have to find out, in the meantime I'll ask Kappa.

I know I want photos of my Yoh costume, but I dunno if anyone else from the Shaman King group would be keen, so maybe I'd just get them alone. /sob

I would like to book the Tales of Vesperia group to have a session at 1:45pm.

Just edited my post to get the slot before it too, since we'll have at least 5 people... if a giant plushie counts as a person. Well I intend to have a full cast which would amount to 7-8 people

I'm not going to take any sunday bookings just yet, sorry hun - I honestly have no idea what I'll be doing, or if 27 shoots in one day is going to kill me ded the next day Razz

I would say yes, probably, but I'll have to confirm same day sad
