Collaboration with CNZ YULETIDE TOURNAMENT

UPDATE!
- Hey guys! Hope you're all busy making/buying your gift for your Secret Santa as well as cam-whoring your little hearts out for the Yuletide Tournament!
- I have a small request to ask from all of you~
- Could you please PM syill (not Pura as she can't edit first post. Oh-hoho) after you've sent off your present to your person?
- This is because, as you may all know, the Secret Santa event also ties in with the Yuletide Tournament which means you can gain points for your team if you successfully send your gift to your assigned person!
- Doing this will make points awarding so much easier for the Yuletide organizers.
- Also! If you're not participating in the Yuletide Tournament, you can PM me anyway! I want to know who's been good and made someone else happy!

Secret Santa
For those who don't know, Secret Santa is a swapping of gifts between two anonymous people around Christmas time to enjoy the spirit of Christmas. It remains anonymous until you give your gift to your person.

Necessary info:
- Sign ups will be closed by November 24th at 11:59pm.
- You will receive a PM on the 25th of November with the details of the person assigned to you.
- You can either buy or make (or both!) your present for your person.
- Maximum spending on a gift is around $10!

How this ties in with the Yuletide Tourney:
- You don't have to take part in the contest to take part in this Secret Santa, but if you are participating in the contest, then successfully completing your Secret Santa will earn you a point for your team!

Common sense with a gentle reminder:
- You don't have spend a ridiculous amount on a present. It's the thought that counts (:
- With that being said, don't be stupid with gifts either. People do not appreciate receiving a roll of toilet paper as their gift.
- Don't go telling or swapping the person you are assigned to.
- We cannot guarantee that you will receive a gift. This is fully up to the responsibility of the person that has been assigned to you.
- You will be receiving the address of another person. Be sensible. Don't go stalking.

How to participate:
- Post that you want to be apart of the event in this thread.
- Fill out the form located at the bottom of this post.
- PM the completed form to Pura.
- Pura will assign you a person picked at random so it's all fair.
- If you have read these rules and would like to participate in this event post 'Jingle bells, Batman smells' ;D

Wise posting advice:
- Since there is a chance you'll be assigned to someone that is not living within the same city/town as you, posting is going to be your best friend.
- NZPost has given some guidelines on dates for sending parcels and letters international and domestic, etc. These guidelines are available HERE!
- Get those brown paper packages tied up with string ready and sent off by 21st of December at the very latest for Standard Post!

I'll check with Duckeh, but having two seems sort of pointless so we may just kidnap you guys and get you to use it as the official one? Idk, it was Duckeh's thing, so I'll leave it to her to decide. :3

Edit: Duckeh says to talk to Loosy OTL And that she personally doesn't mind.

I don't really care if this goes ahead anymore, but I know Gyusle does want to it.

Instead of each of you telling me to talk to a different mod, can you all decide amoungst yourself and then get back to me? It's easier than talking to each mod indervidualy.

You caught us off guard is all - when we're not paying attention we tend to be pretty disorganised. <_<; WE HAS DECIDED, though.

We would be totally keen for you guys to keep this going - as Duckeh said, you're really well organised and have obviously put a lot of effort in already. What we would like to ask is if you guys mind us pulling this into the Yuletide contest?

You guys will keep managing this, but what we'll do is for each person who successfully completes their secret santa and belongs to a team (you won't have to participate in the tournament to join in the secret santa, of course!) we will give their team one point - so the two sorta tie into each other. Very Happy

Are you guys alright with this idea?

...and I would totally like to sign up. C:
