Magna Carta Group 2010 (Sunday) [closed]

The clear bits are going to be made of thin clear plastic sheeting (the sheets used for book binding) - the fuzzy bits are going to be covered in flannel, but IDK what to use to make them not flop. Strong interfacing is so expensive... D: I kind of want to use cardboard, but then I bet it'll rain if I do...

The duraceal mightn't be a bad idea actually. I would use the plastic sheeting by itself to reinforce the flannel, but it's $15 for an A1 sheet, so it's pretty pricey... D: Then again, maybe I should just buy some interfacing - it's less likely to get damaged in transit than the cardboard I think...

Crocell armour and glove progress:

My undercoating for the foam, will add another coat later and then get working on detail. I don't have the ends of his gloves done yet as Meghan is working on those since I didn't have any clue on how to approach them. They should hopefully be done by the time I arrive Wellington

Ignore the end pieces of the fins in the top left, I realise the fins were too big and hacked off the ends. I still have a use for them though, but for later.

im looking at Rue's picture again ... with tired eyes but nonetheless looking at it

and i have a dilemma how many petals are there exactly on rue's shirt/dress?

I always thought it was 6 but looking at it again it looks more like 8 or 9 so something like that

....late to the party, but I also say 8! Or 9 - depending on whether you want a two-in-front/one-in-back combo or vice versa, or symmetrical. I would probably go 9, but I like my asymmetry Razz

Hey guys... I seriously think I'm going to have to drop Zephie. My skill level isn't quite high enough to make this properly, and well.

I've already invested a lot of money into this project so I'm hoping to finish in the future when my skill level can handle it easily.
