Honestly, Jess, I think you have a nice body shape xP.

Also, yeah, I was gonna cut it on myself, but I do suck at that (... //looks at my wonky fringe 8D;; ) BUT NOW THAT I'M ABOUT TO GO TO RANI'S 8DDDDD. But yeah. Today I will finish off the skirt (I have fur now 8D) and then start the top. Maybe do the bells too. Oh, and fur the hat 8D.

Edit: Oh yeah, I've also been working on the Quadropus' leafy things. I have eight red berry things, which I have coloured red, and have the leaves cut, etc. It'll look awesome when I'm done 8DDD. //not bringing to Rani's though

I normally do too - but this hit home a little... >.< Anyway, my suspicion of my dressform conspiring against me was correct - the dials lie about what size they actually are. =_= I've since adjusted it and actually measured to check the dressform is the right size, so hopefully that will help things along.

In the meantime, have a picture of my untrimmed Amila wig (thanks Lucy!)

@jess; WHATEVER MAN i think you look wonderful. 8( the dress looks great too-- adjusting stuff is a smarmy wrench though, i know how you feel OTL. when i made ashe's wedding corset, it was waaaay too small and i had to start over again and dart everywhere and yeah. but you have a lovely figure and a;ldskfjlg THAT WIG REALLY SUITS YOU. Heee, thanks guys! >w< I must admit, looking at that wig I'm contemplating dyeing my hair to a darker shade of brown for normal day-to-day...

At any rate, I don't have photos (camera battery died) but figured I should update you anyway after this morning's angst - my dress mock-up is now perfectly fitted (finally, lol)! Very Happy

Uni homework tomorrow night, but on monday I'll cut up the outer layer. n_n

Dip dye removal complete - fabric is drying, then I'll work out the dye levels for the darker blue and do that. I *think* it's lighter now...I CAN'T TELL.

Also - propmaking is dumb. I hate it. I really don't want to make that stupid umbrella.

So, question - In the Juto renders, his leg armour is clearly metallic. However in the HTK art, it almost looks a kind of pearly cream colour.

What should I go with?

Are you able to do both? Adding some gold to a pale base, or using a pearl-finish paint would look great.

Also, that stupid dye remover didn't do jack. I am going to need to buy some new fabric.
