OH. Pura: I will get that dye to you on saturday if that's okay? I will grab it tomorrow morning for you, but I won't be out Wilton ways again until saturday. Is that enough time, and do you have soda ash or do you need some of that too? I'll put some in a little baggie for ya ;D YOU CAN PRETEND IT IS METH. Only, don't get it in your eyes. Burns like a son of a betch.

I'll be at Rani's on Saturday xD. But not in the early morning. I'm planing to head out there around 10-11ish. Before noon, anyway. And yes, soda ash would be great C:

Oh, oh - Sylvie, which shipping method did you use to get it to arrive in about a week? The 1st Class Mail INTL is by far the cheapest, but their site doesn't say how long it takes. D: (I've emailed them, but thought I'd ask you too)

I always use the cheapest - the next one up is usually exorbitant! My orders have always arrived within a week. I do like me some Dharma. :3

Yeah, it's $16.90 for Mail or $32.35 for Priority mail. ._. I know that Cosworx uses Priority Mail, and that usually takes about a week though, so I'm worried that the 1st class mail might take longer... >.<

It shouldn't do - if it took 8 or 9 days, yeah, sure; I doubt it'd take longer than that. It's up to you though :)

Edit: as of 3.20pm friday, Greg's pattern for his Astal hoodie is finished! You should all be proud of me for resisting the urge to blatantly flout the no double posting rule. Razz

The $16.90 postage apparently takes 10-15 days... I don't know if I should risk that or not ($32NZD for dye that mightn't even arrive in time?) - and I don't want to pay the priority shipping because that'll cost me $50NZD. ...I don't care how amazing this dye is, I'm not paying $50 for it, lol.

...should I go for the $16.90 shipping price, and then if it doesn't arrive in time, use the dylon stuff? :S

But even $30 for dye that I'm not guaranteed will arrive in time? :S I'm almost wondering about just going with the dylon stuff and adding some of that black dye I mentioned - it's a very murky brown I need anyway with the HTK colours.

MAYA'S WIG CAME. That was really fast. Only 11 days xD.

And it's really cute =w=;; But has a really long fringe, so I'll have to cut it.

@Nee: That's looking good, Nee! Very Happy I reckon that tutorial will be fine - it was what Val used when she made my Flonne bloomers and they came out really well, so I say go for it. nodnod

@Pura: Make sure you cut the fringe on a real person - wig heads are smaller than real heads, and Jen had lots of troubles with too-short-wig-fringes because she just used the wig head. :O

@Thread: There was much angst and detriment towards my positive body image last night as I tried the dress on and discovered that it very much still doesn't fit me (...and that I don't need the horizontal rings to get the form right except for at the bottom, because my thighs are big enough to do that for me orz), but I have a photo of it for you (with some pins in because I need to take the sides in, widen the centre front panels on the zipper side, and put a small dart under the boobs to get it to fit right).

Have a heinously lit, incredibly unflattering photo.

Spoiler:

Also, I decided to man up and just buy the Dharma dye. <_< Ah, finances, ihu.
