after seeing static's post about angel sanctuary, i feel brave enough to propose... a magna carta group? idek if many people have played it but the character designs are just AMAZING and it would be awesome if we could get people together for it. 8| i've been dying to do justina for 9999 years now & well.

would anyone be keen? (probably for a competition cosplay, considering it's, uh, magna carta)

... Not that Maya is ... obscure, but she still has no references. And I can't pause my game to get any in the few seconds the screen shows her back in battle Dx

elaine isn't part of the main cast, they usually only put the main ones up... she's a minor character, the water guardian of the legendary 8 warriors~ so that's probably why. 8(

Found out yesterday my local office supplies place sells paperclay - WOO! It was $7 or summat - didn't check how much was in the pack... Still, I'm contemplating ordering a crapload from the states if it'd be cheaper coz it always comes in handy. o_O

i'm considering splitting a massive ebay order of craft foam with lennon, too... it's just ridiculous how much things cost over here. plus the quality of the imported crap you get is pretty awful... sob;;

also, we've passed 990 posts and the thread hasn't split... CONUNDRUM.

I'm so confused...I thought Jp and Ducks sorted out the thread-splitting thing...WHAT.

Anyway, 1001 Razz

Alex: leg armour? Maybe try and get ahold of a pair of soccer shin-guards and spraypaint them, they may already have the texture you want. They'll be easy to build onto, too; says she who's never tried it Razz

Definitely have them as sturdy and chip-proof as possible though - maybe not the paperclay method, as it seems a bit more brittle than craft foam/pure paper mache...

Disclaimer: this is all theory and if it doesn't work I AM SORRY.

@Admin don't use paper clay. My friends used it for their arrancar masks in 2007. They were heavy (considering they were more like large head pieces ...) and broke easily.

How much are the paperclay from States, in cost per gram format?

Because I saw some non paperclay advertised in Warehouse Stationary at about $5/500g, or slightly under $10 for a kilo. Which can be toilet papered into paper clay.
