ACP 2010! Third year running~!

omg if you go as edward that would be soo cool because i'm gonig as riza! if you are 3cm taller than ed I would be taller than you ^^ we need a winry or a Al or another fullmetal alchemist character to make a group!

but i think ill only wear the bottom half of the outfit because the top may be too hot

I'm going in Ed's sleeveless jacket (I'll bring the red one, but I doubt I'd wear it unless in the shade).

I think Korona Korm is going to be coming in a FMA cosplay, but we're not sure which yet. He wanted to do Al at some point, but he's going all out with that one - seven foot tall suit of armor xD

I'm trying to convince him to do Hughes, but neither of us really have the skills to pull off the uniform...x.x

Did you make Riza's costume? If so, do you have a pattern...?

nah I didn't make it i'm a benginner in sewing sad

my mom brought it for me for xmas. I think my mum looks at the histoy on my laptop because I didn't ask for it.. scary.
if he has the miltary uniform also he should so wear it or go as Al but maybe dressing as him when he has his own body maybe the best thing to do. and if he wants to go as roy I have the gloves he could borrow as long as his hand is size "M"

The gloves would be no problem. I can put the design on, and he can draw perfect circles (I think he got too into FMA at one point xD).

I'm thinking of putting him in Hughes's clothes from the first episode he's in. The purple shirt and all that? But at the moment, we're more likely to have Al from the movie (or if I can get him to agree - which is doubtful- Winry).

He's also thinking about being someone from Rush Valley...

But we're making automail each, so we might just double up as Ed and Ed, or Ed and Envy 'dressed' as Ed lol.

I was gonna make a Wrath cosplay, but my dad took one look and said 'no'.
Not that I'd listen to that lol. I'm 18, I can wear what I want... I just can't be guaranteed being allowed back home xD

ohh could you maybe pm me or something of how your making the automail?? I too have also wanted to cosplay ed ivé aready done a winry before- my 1st cosplay :)^^

That should be fine. Since we're a pretty open group, we always welcome other cosplayers. That's how I got involved in the first place. I was cosplaying randomly at 'Geddon and then Rowan invited me to join.

Maybe they'll choose to join after realizing what an awesome bunch of people we are xD

While binding for crossplays is fine. We do suggest you don't bind too tight as it will be very hot and you guys need to breathe. We want to minimize the chances of fainting spells this year guys <3

How much effort are we going to be expected to put into our cosplays? I'm new to all this, as many of you know, and am considering Eddie Brock from Spectacular Spider-Man:

Not much, as this is casual (I'm assuming) and not a full blown out convention. Ideally, have your costume comfortable enough to be cool and move around in. Very Happy

Yes this will be Casual. So it wont be so extreme like a convention. This is a picnic XD

We will be out in the SUN. So I really must stress the use of sunscreen and the drinking of lots of water. So please no leather jackets, black cloaks (i.e org13 cloaks are a definite no!), etc.
I would suggest going with a summer sailor outfit. Or maybe a simple one-piece dress. T-shirts and shorts. Etc. Please, nothing complicated as you might participate in running games etc. We might even hold a water gun fight C:
