I have thin lizzy. It doesn't really make a difference if you use it like foundation but if you cake it on it goes pretty dark.
And I'm blindingly white..

I've had a spray tan for cosplays before (Spartans at Wellington etc). It can be expensive, but it depends on where you go. I've seen some places charge $60... *ouch* but the place I go to only charges $25. It only takes a few minutes, and lasts for days. Less hassle - and no worries about going orange either..
