Would anyone be interested in this sort of thing?

I used to do sorta steampunk jewelry stuff like this, and I'm thinking of getting back into it as a way to distract myself from my ill health and as a source of income while I'm studying.

Would anyone be interested in things like this? How much would people be willing to pay for this kind of thing, if anything at all?

Each work is made from old/antique parts, and artistically different (I won't do the same exact style twice. Sorta impossible without the same parts. XD)

Thoughts?

I would totally be keen for this.
For how much to pay, it depends on the worth of the metals used, I suppose - plus how much time (hour wise) and effort has been used on it.

They take a lot of effort and time, but the materials are pretty much worthless by themselves. That's why I've been reluctant to even try selling anything.

I was looking at stuff like this on dA a few days ago and was like 'WANT'

I'm sure quite a few Wellingtonions would be interested, what with our Cosplay Ball being steampunk themed and all xD

I've pretty much only got the ability to do necklace/amulet type dealies, although I'd love to do more. It's just a matter of obtaining the materials and tools as I need them.

Time-wise it varies dramatically. My main concern would probably just be getting material costs back so I can make more. I dunno.

Ah - that makes it rather tricky to do quotes for then! Depending on how elaborate the piece, I would pay $30-$50 ($50 if it was REALLY elaborate) for something like this - what sort of price range were you hoping for?

Around $30 I guess. Costs and whatnot. I'd have to bump up the price as more materials go into it.. I'm reluctant to ask for lots because they're not exactly made of expensive materials. It's an artsy thing.
