CNZ is the only site that won't load!

I need help! It is the only site that won't load on my laptop. Yes - other computers in this house can reach it, so it can't be the internet, surely.

I've tried:
Clearing caches
Clearing cookies
Restarting computer
Restarting internet
Plugging directly into router
Accessing site on other computers (it worked)

What happens:
Title of site is set in, as though it knows it has reached site
Page stays blank, as though loading
Loading bar continues to load, without success

Help T__T

EDIT: Problem was solved, but...how? o_O;;

D: That's not good... Have you ever managed to get it to load on your laptop? I find that when that happens, if I refresh it loads. One suggestion we had when CNZ was having site maintenance issues was using a proxy which made it work for quite a few people - give that a try maybe?

The other question is, is it just at a particular time of day? The site does a back up between 6pm-7pm for a minute or two (it's usually at 6.30, but does vary) and during that minute or two won't load. Sorry I can't be of more help though. D:

I am immediatley reminded of the HOST file. I assume you are running windows?

It is a long shot, and probably only applicable if someone did it on purpose. Go start -> Run (or type in the search box on Vista/7), type "notepad.exe %SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts" and look for an entry in the file that opens that mentions forum.cosplay.co.nz or cosplaynewzealand.forumotion.com. If there is, erase that line, save and try again.

Use a proxy site. I have to use a proxy siteas well for my laptop otherwise CNZ just doesn't load.

Yea and i'm kinda adamant about proxies x_X several have tried to install malware on my pc. (I had to use a couple for security reasons >.> ) - it's REALLY annoying when forumotion goes down and REALLY annoying when i've seen the content they host besides CNZ and other member's forums x_X its' basically a breeding ground for pr0n and warez.

I agree. Proxy's are just dumb. >.< Glad its fixed, but I hope it doesn't happen again because I don't know how it was fixed...
