[Games] AN EPIC EVENT YOU ALL WANT TO COME TO... 8D

Could someone please inform me of the dates of holidays? 8'D

Basic idea: Four/Two teams. We participate in various cosplay related and non-cosplay related games and the winning team has ultimate bragging rights for forevarrr. Basically: Crappy games, epic cosplayers, scenic location for photoshoots, epic lazy relaxing OHAND LIKE POOLS/BEACH/SOMETHING AND CRAP.

Location: Still being decided, though it will be on the north island. I personally would like to atleast go for a little drive outta Auckland, but again, tell me what you guys are keen for. {Because I'm terrible & ihu south islanders, ntrly. It's just I'm organising this and that's easier for me. South islanders are welcome to come/make their own event... Actually, if they want to, I say we merge our teams together, so there's two teams NZ wide. 8DDD}

So Rowan and I were talking about how awesome our primary/intermediate school games were... Yeah, and how awesome it'd be to play with cosplayers. IN MY PROCRASTINATION FROM DOING MY AUCKGEDDON COSPLAY, I BRING YOU THIS IDEA.

I'm thinking this could be in mid-January/early February, though obviously this will depend on how much it will cost, because auckgeddon will have just been. If it costs too much, I'll postpone till the next/nextnext holidays in order to give you all some saving time. <3

December 18 - February 2 is the dates of School Holidays, I'd be interested if I wasn't full of Phail, but it's a good idea, but will the attendance be that great, and are you going to slap an age restriction on it so the rabid 12 year olds don't crash the drunken slumber party?

This is the post to figure out what attendance will be like. I dare say I can rope in enough people to make it enjoyable.

There won't be an age restriction, though I'm thinking the 12 year olds parents won't be happy with them attending a camp with a bunch of strangers, so they'll need a "caregiver" over the age of 18 {Could be someone from the cosplay community, though this will entail them sleeping in the same tent/cabin & having their parents approval.} & I'd want to personally talk to their parents about the extended weekend, whether over the phone or face to face. This would be the same for anyone 15 & under.

KEEN. I have my last evarr uni course from nov 16 to dec 1st (ish) and after that I'm free, unless I miraculously find a job. But so, SO keen! Would it be over a weekend, or during the week? How long?

I'm thinking it'd be either fri/sat/sun/mon/tuesday or fri/sat/sun/mon. The first and last day would be travelling days. But I'm sure that we could squeeze some awesome in there too. 8D

But at this point, it's all changeable. :3 Again, pricing and how logical it is will decide how many nights. But I'm hoping for 3 or 4, to make it actually worthwhile. //Had written this somewhere & deleted it. orz

All of those options sound good! Especially the fri-mon one...if the fri and mon are taken up with travelling/sorting stuff out, still leaves two days and three nights for shenanigans!

I are interest, not too sure how my parents would feel about the whole camp-like thing ~~unless you decided the beautiful Mt Maunganui with it's amazing beaches and a rather small mountain was a good place~~

Howiiiiiiick. We have like, a beach. And a bush. And a rentable hall thingy attached to a library that has ~~limited~~ manga. And a park. And Cockle Bay School has this AWESOME adventure playground. 8D And we have cemeteries. WOO CEMETERIES!

EDIT: We have tennis courts too. >_>

Oh and I'm keen, if you didn't guess. 8D
