Wanted: To commission a metalsmith/metal jeweller

Because I don't know where to look!

In short: a colleague lost her antique key, and wants to replace it. Problem being that the key is so rare it's impossible to find a good replacement. One way of going around it is to make a replica from the only other key with polymer clay, then send it to a metal smith that could cast it into metal. There will be minimum design required, all I'm looking for is someone with the right equipment as well as killer precision!

Any recommendations would be super appreciated. I would prefer an NZ based smith, but you know, open game. ;D

Does it need to work? I know you can buy great metal alloys at Top Mark (I've been eyeing them for casting my own Renaissance jewellery) which can pretty much be cast at home if you have a torch.. otherwise SCA folks near you probably have someone who works with (modern) pewter. I can think of folks in Wellington, Waikato and near Christchurch off the top of my head :)

I'm only working with Resin ATM due to Teh Feers of teh Fiorz.

They have to be functional. Absolutely have to be. BUT I LIKE THE IDEA. A LOT.
