If only one person has information relative to the thread, is one-on-one still unacceptable?

That is fine. But if its constantly only to one single person, we would prefer it if its condensed to one post or taken up to PM then added to the thread in one post.

I would also just like to remind people to refrain from Double Posting.

Double Posting is when you post twice successively. We're alright with double posting if it's for a good purpose, like reviving a thread or announcing something that people will need to see but if you're going to just add something to a somewhat recent post of yours please just edit it in using the Edit button located at the top of your posts.

The offtopic-ness doesn't annoy me unless it's like five or six posts (or more) in a row that's by two people (like the one-on-one posts).

Yeah, any posts more then 5 and its just gets too excessive. It doesn't matter how many people are in it, offtopic is offtopic.
If its one-on-one they can take it to PM. If its by more then a few then they can go create a thread in the random section about it.
Its been getting out of control, offtopicness makes it hard to keep up with relevant posts, organise or even post with an ontopic post.

If you guys notice a thread going offtopic, or someone double posting, that the mods haven't seen yet, either remind the person/people posting or PM a mod please.

Also guys dont be afraid to contact the moderators for any issues you have with the forums. We don't bite =3

I personally can't see the harm in putting it back - even if no one uses it, it's at the bottom of the page so it's out of the way.

To add to what Aura has said: If you guys ever feel too shy or uncomfortable PMing a moderator about a post, click on the "!" button in the triangle at the top right of the post in question, and you can report it without having to contact one of us directly if you don't want to. :)
