Cosplay Cup

Each city has a first prize (I really want Auckland's prize myself!) so you will already have a prize of a monetary value anyway ;)

But it is the cup and the bragging rights ;)

I have questions because I am confused.

You say that the cosplay cup will be kept seperate from the cosplay contest yes? So will there be two contests at Auckgeddon then?

So this years previous winners will be going up against the Aussie winner? So does mean that everyone else entering the cosplay contest can not go up against the Aussie, only this years past winners?

Sorry if this makes no sense, I am just a little confused.

The way I interpret it is that it's basically between the Best in Show of the Auckgeddon contest and the Australian Champion.

I am totally confused by that paragraph...The Cosplay Cup is between THIS years winner of the Geddon Comp and this years winner of the Aussie Comp??
Isnt it?

I am confused at how last year comes into it??

Idea for cup even though it's a late post: Put a small statue of Athena Nike (pronunced Ni-kay (Ni as in Knights who say neigh from Monty Python))

Also I would be keen to enter!!
I may be a noob at cosplay but I'll go for a chance to better my skills any day!

SilkSpectre has it right I'm pretty sure. I don't see how last year's contests are relevant to the competition. As far as I can tell the contest runs exactly the same as it has, the only difference is that the individual that wins Best in Show gets to compete against the Best in Show from Aussie in who gets the cup.
