New update issues, (also P&V messages)

Okay guys, with the new updates there are new issues xD
First one, which is a bigger - as you know you can post messages on peoples profiles for everyone to see. To do this you click the "newPM" button.
~ and thus our problem.

Several people (both here and on other forumotion forums) are mistaking that button for a "private message" button instead.
Of course, they both say newPM.
However once clicked, the private message section, and vistor message section are slightly different.

We are seeing if we can change the new button to newVM or something similar.

In the meantime:

To send a private message.
A) if you are in a thread: Click the pawn (chess piece looking) button that says "MP" (this is under their avatar, location information etc)

B) Go into your messages, and click "newPM"

or,
C) in the users profile (do not click "newPM!"): go to "contact" then click the private message button.
Note: when the page loads you will see "send a new private message"

To send a vistors message.
Click the users profile, when the page loads you're automatically in the vistors message section. Click "newPM"
Note: when the page loads you will see "send a new message on this profile."

So, if you've sent a personal message in the last few days, you might want to check the user's profile to make sure it sent to their pm box, and not their vistors page.
Likewise if you've clicked on a user, and they seem to have a very personal-like message on their profile page (someone might have made this pm/vm mistake) you might want to pm the user (or a moderator if you dont feel comfortable) to see if the user knows, and wants it deleted.

I seem to have an inability to locate the Visitor Messages's "New PM". DX

Hms, the url changed *updates*

Okay, so click into the members profile = it takes you straight to the profile page. Once you are there, click the "Vistors messages" tab (its before the profile)
After you've clicked it, go to the top left corner, there should be "NEWPM" button (on my browser, its directly underneath "Home Portal Gallery etc")
