Lets Car Pool through NZ...

Anyone up for this...
I know there was a thread for this a few months back, dunno if it happened...

This Car Pool will be from Auckland to Wellington. and if we are lucky, Wellington to Auckland as well...
Depending on the Amount of people, we could either rent a Van and all go together, playing games and what not, oh how fun that would be, or just grab a couple of Cars and just pay the Drivers/owners Petrol Money...

*note: At lest 3 Drivers are needed as the Trip is very long...*

So, I need a list of people willing and able to do this...then I can sort out the route (and renting amount if we go with a Van) So far we have:

For WellyGeddon:

So, if you haven't got transport or you are wishing that nakedbus buses were less crapped and more fun, then pop your name down and where ya live and I will add you to the first post and sort out your route and where to pick you up if it goes ahead...

I think this is an awesome idea! I would join in for a Wellington to Auckland road trip for Auckgeddon.

How much would it cost each of us, i assume the more there is, the less it costs. -is interested in joining-

Yeah, at the moment it's $32 dollars each for a 10 seater Van, that is dividing it by 10 for the full four days...That is $8 a day.
It doesn't include Petrol though, and that price is if we fill all 10 seats...

PS: If you get 10 people. plus all their gear for 4 days you'll probably want to try and add a luggage trailer. They're usually $20->$30/day...

I'd be happy to, but don't count that as a commitment yet lol. It's a great idea to have a bit of extra fun, and is probably cheaper than a plane?
