Do cosplayers get stuff space this year?

hrmmm, dunno. >_> Cloak room at Auckgeddon was a bit of a flop - wasn't too popular on the Sat, so they ninja-ed off on the Sunday to much disappointment. I'm guessing they'll try and bring it back though. :)

& yeah, congrats with the ball! Very Happy

the reason why the Auck ball was cancelled was because of a death in the family of the organiser. >> needless to say I'm glad nothing happened like that for you guys! o__o;

Kevin from down at the BP station near me says that Welly'Geddon isn't as good as Auck, but I told him that I would go anyway just to compare...and maybe stalk a few peeps....*ponders*

Yeah, Welly has one giant floor and then like a semi floor above that's like a tenth the size of the giant floor and then it has seating where you can look down on the floor (it's a basketball stadium 8D).

And you can just put our stuff behind the info desk. It's an actual spot in the wall, unlike CHCH's table (even though they also had another area where you could store stuff).

What would be fun~ Is sealing off an area of seats for cosplayers. Excpet of course, then alll our stuff would be sitting there is full view of EVERYONE.

GAh finding places for your stuff is always a hassle. Last years Wellygeddon wasn;t as bad as I didn;t buy much and I just did a quick trip home half was through the day to dump what I did buy (yay for living 5 mins away....but not anymore) the all I took was a small coin bag which I shoved down my bra lol.

As for Auckland I think the cloakroom was a good idea it is just sad if failed.....we ended up putting out stuff in there we just hid it under the tables (shhhhhh)....but again we were staying at a place down the road so we just did Missions back there during the day.

OMG! I never check the celebrity line-up these days coz I can't be bothered paying the fees and queing the ques and am usually too busy anyway but SAM JONES! He's my HERO! Well, to be fair, Flash Gordon was. I watched our VHS of that film to DEATH, and then mourned it's passing for YEARS until I got a DVD. And then, when I watched it again as an adult it WAS STILL AS AWESOME AS I REMEMBERED. Coz lots of childhood stuff fails that. Him and Han Solo were my childhood crushes.
