Epic Cosplay Dance Party
Post By Kori123. 14/11/08, 01:52 pm

I'll spare the long and boring details. Basically, I thought it would be fun to get together at some point on some day and just do a bunch of fun anime dances. We can all be in themed cosplay of some kind or all random various ones.

Anyway, here's a list of dances I know that we can try to do:
- Hare Hare Yukai: Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (Short and long version)
- Motteke Sailor Fuku: Lucky Star (Theme and long version)
- Caramelldansen (Short and long version)
- Caipirinha (Short version)
- My Best Friend: IdolMaster (Long version)
- Hare Hare Fuku (Mix between HHY and MSF)

If anyone has any other dances they know and would like to do, just post it and we can add it to the list.

Suggestions:
- Macarina
- Birdy Dance
- Numa Numa
- Massive Robot

----

This can be the list of one we're actually going to do:

There was actually some organised dances at Auckland this year. It was somewhat of a continuation of what was the cosplay games last year in Auckland. You'll probably find some references to it in old posts.

There's also usually spontaneous dances outside the event just for fun. Hare Hare Yukai, Lucky Star, and Caramelldansen are all pretty regular occurances. I haven't heard of Caipirnha, IdolMaster, or the Hare Hare Fuku ones tho.

Caipirhna is really easy...and you cna't do it for very long without your arm hurting XD Idolmaster is a game and MBF is just one dance from it that's kind of fun to do. Hare Hare Fuku is jsut a combination of the two others so it's pretty easy.

It's good you're thinking up new dances haha we're running a little dry...

btw, we already have a mini dance event being organised for Wellygeddon, like the one at Auckgeddon. Would you be keen to be involved and to share those new dances with us? You can find that thread here =3

Yeah, I lvoe learning dances so anything new I find I do. My friends and I made up a long version of caramelldansen that's not too fun to watch (unless in a big group) but it's really fun to do.

I don't know any of it xDDD.

Cobi (one of the Wellington cosplayers) knows it though.

It was going to be our Halloween trick, but in the end we didn't use it because we got egged -___-.

Warning: Never go trick-or-treating in Wadestown.

8D would you be happy performing some of these at the cosplay events we're planning on hosting?
