I know we all get really excited when we see a crazy awesome costume, but pleeeeeease make sure that you don't tackle them or atleast ask for a hug first.

None of my cosplays has been fragile yet, but this is sound advice.
On the hugging/glomp thing - Always, ALWAYS ask first, unless you a. know that person personally and b. know it won't damage them/their costume/props in anyway >>
And oh, if you're confused about gender (lol, it happens xD) just ask the person, it's better then being constantly referred to by character name only and/or it, and I bet most of us won't be offended, just glad we can pull off the crossplay xD |

| | About the make-up... From personal experience... if you're getting hot and sweaty, you should dry your self off and reapply. Cause it is not awesome when you get a face shaped tan mark on the front of your costume after hugging another cosplayer.... (it is not cool!) |
