Guide to Cosplay Photography and con Etiquette
Post By JVCA. 19/10/08, 10:16 am

So here's a must read for everyone here: behindinfinity on DeviantArt has written a guide on how to get great cosplay photos, and how to behave properly during a convention without annoying the heck out of everyone else. X3

Read it and tell me what you think! n_n I'm adding this guide to the guides/tutorials list, too.

Wow neat-o! Very Happy
I'm probably gunna practice poses on Friday night.
Eeep your going as Yuna on Sunday, eh? Then we can photo :3
I might only go as her on Sunday and just be a norm on the other days.
Its a bit lame going two days as one person :/

There's nothing wrong going as the same person for all three days, especially if you're cosplaying a really popular character. People around the convention will recognise it's you, and people who are only there for the day will want your photo. By wearing the same costume each day, people are more likely to actually remember who you are, lol - Shannon wasn't actually on cosplay.com (where the beginning of CNZ started) and so we didn't know who she was at Auckgeddon last year - but she wore the same costume each day, so when she introduced herself as "I was Shinku" we were like "OOOOH! I KNOWS YOOOOOU!!!1" XD

...DO EEET. XP

I have this saved in my Fav Journals XD
She is so epic<3

And yes, go in the same cosplay, it totally doesn't matter! I am, and it's probably more ghetto and noobish than yours haha.

Hell yes! I'd love to have my own 'Tuxedo Team' hahah. I've been thinking about forming one with Val + Jen, but I can't think of a cool enough name. >.> All I got so far is The Sisterhood (inside joke) but that just makes me think of Nuns. o_O

Hahahaha nuns!
Yes, I would, too. Ah to be as amazing as them *_*
Tbh, I think they have it easier because they get their costumes tailored, so they can do more cosplays more often... I don't think I'd be able to sew as much at all OTL
I think Essa, Ysabel & family will think the cosplay scene here is boring after being involved in so many things there! I hope not =[
