I haven't used Plasti-Pip before. Its basicly a rubber-type paint. I have got a can which was $39.
I'm going to use it to seal my EVA foam armour as almost all tutorials I've come across have said that EVA foam needs to be sealed before painting and Plasti-Dip is the best stuff to use.

This other rubber paint (spray can version) just arrived and I have found the link to the store it comes from; http://www.kiwieshop.co.nz/product/2-x-400ml-rubber-spray-paint/2747.aspx

I will try using it to night to see if its any good.

Is that what people are using nowdays to seal EVA foam?
Back when cosplay was a budding hobby, we used PVA glue or gesso or mod-podge to seal out foam. I personally use a combination of ironing, and hair spray.

That what I've seen on most tutorials and instructables, but they do also have the PVA (watered down slightly) option for sealing. They just say that Plasti-Dip is the easiest.

I've done a few coats with this knock off stuff. Waiting for it to dry so will post an up-date tomorrow on how its worked out.
