Newbie moving to Wellington

Hello, my name is Ry or Rai-kun (my cosplay alias) and I am a cosplayer from Thailand, however in just a few weeks I will be moving to New Zealand to study at Victoria University of Wellington. I have many cosplay outfits in Thailand, a lot of which I probably will not be able to take with me due to the size of the props, but I hope that I will be able to continue cosplaying while I'm in New Zealand.

I hope that you guys can help me find my way around in Wellington. I have many cosplay outfits i can't bring with me on my first trip but if there's any group cosplays and such, where my costumes might fit into, then i might have my outfits shipped to me later.

Anyway on this first round I intend to just bring my Barnaby Brooks Jr. outfit from Tiger & Bunny. And I might bring my red and blue wig too for Akaito and Kaito cosplay from Vocaloid. Most of my cosplayers however are from Bleach, unfortunately my bleach cosplays comes with zanpakutos, most of which are quite large so i'm not sure if i should bring it or not. I also have a Gintama outfit and a Hibari outfit from Katekyo Hitman Reborn (which I didn't bring because I assume metal tonfas are a no at cons in NZ unlike in Thailand).

I've been cosplaying for 7 months... i will post pics later since it says new members can't post external links for 7 days.

OMG!!! Yay! Do you have a Bunny already? Can I be your Bunny?... and no, I won't ask for poses like in my avatar if you're uncomfortable hehehe.

It's the only costume that will fit in my luggage this time.

BTW you only have the gallery at DA right? Because i don't think i can post mine there yet since i'm not in new zealand yet.

and I know what you mean, theres never enough suitcase space for more costumes haha

Icarus thanks... Like i said, i'm not sure about posting since it's a group of NZ cosplays and i'm not there yet. I would like to show you guys my pics though... But i guess i can't post there till i get enough posts in introductions or something right?

hahaha, right. Well I'm open to pretty much any ship most of the time even if I have my favourites.

I saw a Karina cosplayer at the last event, I was SO bummed out cause I was cosplaying South Korea from Hetalia at the time... If I'd been cosplaying Bunny I could have gotten a photo with her! I've only seen one Karina cosplayer and one Blue Rose cosplayer in thailand so far sad

I would love to be your Bunny, though I'm not very good looking so I hope it won't be too dissapointing.

Actually, I was so busy being bummbed out about Karina I walked into a rope and tripped hahaha. Maybe I should switch to Tiger cosplay. Then it'd be in character when I trip over stuff.

I don't have my Tiger & Bunny photos up on DA yet but my username is HRecycleBin... I'm not allowed to post links yet.

I warn you though... there's a lot of slash cosplays there. Some het pairs too though.

sawasdee. I've been to Bangkok,there were many costume and Anime shops :)
I bought Miku bag when i was travelling there lol

I wanna see your Akaito.I thought that caracter is not famous among vocaloid.
sometimes I cosplay as Kaito :)

Don't know what my schedule will be like or if i'll be able to go anywhere. Too bad cause I really want a cosplay session with Karina.

And thanks... I'm a lot chubbier than in the photos. I had good photographers.

Sawadee Ka, nice to mee you kouya. Hehe yes Miku is very popular here. And thank you, my vocaloids are mostly not in full costume, my Akaito is using my own outfits mostly.

I would show you photos of my Akaito, but i can't post links yet so maybe you can search for it? My DA account is HRecycleBin. There's a Vocaloid folder, though I haven't gotten my Kaito cosplay up since there aren't any good photos of that one so i only have the photos up at Cosplay.com. I only have Akaito/Miku photos up on DA.

And yes, i love icecream hehe.

I'm so jello that you've got tonfas! I know a friend who would die at your feet for them! And because she's also a huge fan of Hibari. Other than that, Gintama! Love that anime so much.

Hey. Heyno. Don't even think about getting two Bunnies Icarus, or I'll throw you out on the couch.

But ohmygosh, welcome, it's so exciting to see another T&B cosplayer *A* we had a Karina cosplayer, but I think she sold off her wig after her photoshoot with us c: and I think we have two girls cosplaying Blue Rose this year ^__^ one lives in Welly, so I'm sure if you ask her once she's done, she'd love to get photos with you.

I can't wait to see more of your photos.
