wig cap colour

| Okay this may seem rather silly and a bit of an obvious answer but I got a blonde wig a while back and forgot to get a wig cap. Now that I've gotten some spare money I was wondering about wig cap colors. I can only seem to find black wig caps on trademe so does it matter if I wear a black wig cap under a blonde wig? or should I just wait a bit longer to see if any beige ones come on trademe in the next few weeks? |

| Depends on the thickness and quality of the wig. I've personally worn random coloured wigcaps under blonde hair before /note my lily white cosplay/
But my wig is a decent quality relatively thick wig so the wefts dont show too easily.
However if the wig you have is on the thinner side i would suggest a flesh coloured cap so you dont have to explain to people why your scalp is darker than your face :3 |

| | Another idea would be to make your own wig cap from a skin coloured stocking or pantyhose, which is what I ended up with when I realised I needed a lighter coloured wig cap for my Miki Kaoru cosplay. |

| | ^ Thats exactly what I do too. I buy cheap skin colour stocking for $1 and I use it for all wig colours. Its especially good for people with thick or longer hair. |
