Alright can someone tell me how to use this website?

| | I have no idea what I'm doing. I am literally just derping. And when I literally derp I mean that I am LITERALLY derping. Not using literally in a stupid face way like everyone else. I just feel like I'm smacking all the buttons and none of them work. SO what do I have to do to make a like a post that will eventually organise something somewhere at some point? |

And hm, well, you've taken the first step, which is creating a topic. If you want to organise a casual meetup or something, maybe post a topic in the 'North Central Island Syndicate' subforum since you live in Tauranga- http://forum.cosplay.co.nz/f15-ncis-north-central-island-syndicate . Lay down a time, place, and whatever you'll be doing :)?
(There's also the 'Other NZ events' subforum for more official/mass turnout events.)
I think posting topics and replies are really all you need to know. And the little buttons above the reply box are for stuff changing text (bolding, italics, whatever), uploading and embedding photos in a post, and hyperlinking. But the FAQ should most of it?
