Because pirates are the coolest thing. You want to be a pirate, don't you? Canon, or just a general swashbuckling rogue, take your pick!
When & where is yet to be decided, but we could always just commandeer some vessel and pirarty at sea (am I kidding or not? Who knows!)

XDD Was thinking about a PotC group when it was on tv the other day~
