| Them drill curls man.
Picture in spoiler

I'm not exactly sure how to tackle this. I'm found a couple of tutorials and tips from people who've done it themselves but what i've found all... well I keep on having brain farts and not understanding it.
I get that their drill curls and i'd probably need to work with wefts but...
Any tips guys? |

| I would start with a short base wig and get some long wefts. (her hair would look so weird after a shower. it'd be short with these random long bits where her curls should be ahaha)
Anyway. I'd probably make the drill shape with some thin wire to start and attach them to the wig. Then you'd need to sew your wefts into the wig at the base of the curls and then with hair glue on your fingers, grab the base of the wefts and the base of the curls and run your fingers along the wire, attaching the wefts to the wire. You'll probably need a few layers. Also I guess it would work to create them off the wig and then just attach them with the wire or something, but sewing wefts in would probably make them more secure.
This is of course entirely theoretical because I've never tried it myself. 8D;; _________________

| here's a tutorial similar to what Alex said
| Spoiler: | | | |
other methods have used cement glue in between the wefts instead which will make it rock hard when it dries xD
hope it helps~ |

| i would prefer using pipe cleaner instead of wire because the extra fluff on it would make stick better to the wefts and looks softer/more natural (It makes sense in my head).
Ive seen it done in a few tutorials though I suppose if you want the corkscrews to be quite flat and thin wire would be better.
..yea wire would probably be better.. never mind |

| Actually, I'd recommend going the stiff plastic route, layering it between two wefts. Icarus has already posted the tutorial. (: The end result in the tutorial is one of the slightly messier end results I've seen, you can actually get it done a lot neater and with tighter curls. |
