So I heard that at Armageddon on the last day .. that the anime is sold for ludicrously cheap....
Is this true?

I know that not every year is the same... but from previous experiences ..is it?

Madman usually has a good selection of misc. anime for sale. I picked up a Macross Box set for $30 one year, woot.

Some stalls may do good specials, on stock they have left. On the other hand any stock that start on a big special you want to get to at the start before someone else buys them.

Well.. the madman stall seemed to be getting rid of all their DVD's .. even before the last day and it looked like they didnt re-stock either >.<

Madman just bring all their stock with them, and once it's gone, it's gone and they don't restock during the weekend.
They have $5 DVD special bins on all days though.

Madman not so much, but other stalls have sales near the end of the day. They do it more in non-Auckland events, because they bring stock down from Auckland, so the more they sell they less they have to bring back up with them.
