some of you might remember this from conventions such as auckland armageddon and, well, auckland armageddon. lacking motivation to finish your costume? need that extra boost to handsew that wee bit? then this is the facet for you!

BUT WHAT'S A POWER HOUR, i hear you cry?

a power hour is an hour that we all decide upon during the week that you POWER AWAY AT YOUR COSTUMES. put aside the ps3, kick the coursework under the bed, this time is for you and the only thing standing between you and finishing that damn thing-- motivation. you solidly work on cosplay for that hour and when it ticks over, you come here and post your progress, feeling the sweet, sweet emotion of achievement!

everyone wins.

we will run several power hours a week until auckland armageddon rolls around (please don't mention how close it is as many of us will probably have minor heart attacks), but will see which times best suit you all.

also, we will tinychat to make sure we're all on task!
