Pants too transparent, what undergarments should I wear?

Aight so my Magnet ver. Len Kagamine costume arrived in the mail today. The pants are white, and the material is quite light and you can see through them slightly. I noticed I could see my boxers, and that's obviously a problem. I was thinking like, I could buy some thick white tights or something (what one is like pants with feet? I don't even know... Whatever that is, I mean that) and just wear those over my boxers/underwear so you can't see anything else. I don't want to waste my money so I figured I'd post and ask if you guys think that's a good idea, or, if not, if you have any other suggestions (aside from like, buying new pants, that's not going to happen).

Get some skin/nude coloured underwear, only $5-$10 at The Warehouse or Kmart :)

I don't really care if white tights show through, because, well, they're tights. Underwear is a different story. I'm probably going to go with white tights, and if it doesn't work out I'll consider flesh tone underwear. It's just, I'm not fond of flesh/nude underwear to begin with. I know no one sees it, but I simply loathe such underwear on myself. I'm more of a boxers kind of guy. I don't even know I'll look into it I guess. Thanks though, guys. nodnod

Oh fair enough, I feel the same way about nude coloured underwear, but it does have its benefits. Hope you find something that works for you :)

It's ugly as sin, but nude underwear (including tights) really is the best. Anything white beneath a pale transparent garment will create a "ghost" effect. You seem to have made up your mind though Very Happy

I'd consider nude underwear if they made it for men. Ain't wearing no woman's underwear. I've never, ever seen nude tone underwear for guys, hah. I can imagine how it'd great a ghost effect, but idk. I'll probably buy tights to try (since I can wear them with other costumes) and if they don't work with the pants I'll fish around for some nude underwear for men or something.

I would say go for the tights, that is because I think that if you wore nude colored underwear lines would show through like when you wear tight pants and you have the panty lines on the outside. Not sure if that applies to the pants you are wearing. That and you could want to wear socks anyway so that also eliminates the point where your socks end and your skin shows if you know what I mean.

Sometimes I really do make no sense.

I did this once. I was wearing white jeans for a cosplay, but they weren't very thick, so I wore black leggings/maybe stockings underneath and you couldn't tell at all.

You keep saying nude tights, but I would think nude tights would be too thin still. Unless you're all talking about really thick ones xD. Can you get nude leggings? Those could possibly work (never seen any though).
