Making Wreaths
By Lucca. 23/06/11, 08:52 pm |
| I'm doing JBF Luka and would like to see if anyone here has any tips for making wreaths. Any tips or anything please?
I've never made a wreath before so I thought it would be worth asking for some advice.
Wreath looks like | Spoiler: | | | |
I can see clover flowers and leaves, 2 different coloured roses and daisies in this picture. What do you use as a base for your wreaths?
Thanks ;D |

| Ooh, I came across a website with some tips for making something like this- http://honestlywtf.com/diy/diy-flower-halo/ lol the URL
I haven't tried that method myself, but you could look into it and adding more flowers? |

| When I made mine for jbf!Luka I bent a circle shape from florists wire and then twisted fake flowers around it. The stems of the fake flowers you get should be flexible and wired which makes it easy just to twist everything together.
| Spoiler: | | | I went a bit over the top with the amount of flowers in mine but it is effective http://personified-insanity.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d3epuuq |

| | Thanks for all the advice! I'll probably go and get some plastic flowers and do as Personified Insanity says. It sounds pretty good to me. Thanks for the link SockPanda. |
