Disappearing Eyebrows....

Help!
you see.... I'm doing Sakura from Naruto for Christchurch Armageddon....
I've got EVERYTHING done wig, cosplay, green contacts etc.... but there's ONE problem...
MY DARK ASIAN EYEBROWS D; (cries)
and i have no idea how to make them go away/become lighter so they look less BLACK and different to the wig color..? :/
and i prefer NOT shaving them...
(incident at school..: some girl had shaved their eyebrows and used make up for eyebrows and teacher foreced them to remove it cause no make up at school etc... and she had to go eyebrowless!! D:)
So yeah...
Anyone that would be so kind to give any ideas?

if shaving isnt your thing, then you could always wax them... Or pluck, but that may take a while...

There are ways to colour dark eyebrows, most involve PVA glue, eyeshadow, paint and stuff. Here's some links:

If you want to change the colour of your eyebrows you can:

a) cover them with PVA glue then paint over them (don't worry, you eyebrows won't come off with the glue)

b) concealer over brows then go over with either eye shadow (pink, in the case of Sakura) or eye/lip pencil

the thing with the paint and glue is that it can look really fake and feel really solid (it looked like fat caterpillars above my eyes when I did it orz)
I use eye/lip pencils, but it's not very effective if your eyebrows are thick so you might have to pluck them (would recommend you get them shaped by someone that has done it before cause you don't want to lose them xD )

@Icarus: Thank you... yeah Glue sounds scary >A<... i think i'll get them shaped a bit first then use the eyeliner/lipliner/eyeshadow :)

Even though you're problem is pretty much solved, I just wanted to say that with very dark brown eyebrows, loading them up with white eyeliner then brushing a coat of appropriately coloured eyeshadow over does the job for me. Another thing to note is that it's okay to have eyebrows slightly darker than the wig as eyebrow colour is, in a lot of cases, not always the exact shade of a person's hair.

Yeah, i just trieds and its impossible to make it COMPLETELY perfect anyways. It's naice enough its a little darker than the wig but its ALL good :)

just adding my two cents because i have asian eyebrows of death too T-T

generally, when the con season comes near I would trim down my eyebrows to near extinction (maybe about 2mm length?)
just so there's less eyebrow for the concealer to worry about
it does look a bit stupid afterwards though... but it's slightly better than shaving off the whole thing

when i cover them i use a combination of
- Kryolan Aqua colour
this dries around the eyebrows so it doesn't rub off easily
i usually mix it with a cottonbud dunked in toner (because when you're sharing a room with many cosplayers you can't get to the sink easily)

- stick concealer
because its more solid i can wad it on till the hairs drown in it

- power foundation
to finish them off >B)
it covers the bits you've missed

and then i have fun with the eye shadow palette~ whoopdeedoo

its not the pro way to do it, but it works for me ^-^
